What is a style guide?
A style guide is a guide developed for designers and developers to follow for a consistent look and feel for the project. A style guide usually includes the following:
- A font family and sizes of the fonts by use.
- A color pallet
- Design examples
- The design for the core slides (usually the first few slides and the conclusion).
1. Fonts
Fonts can give a feeling or character to a design. Some fonts are romantic, some are whimsical, while others might be described as industrial . The right set of fonts can give your work a distinct flavor or feeling.
2. Color
Choosing a color pallet is also something very personal for the client. It can simply be the company colors or the color choice might be based on message or content reinforcement.
